This is a picture of a building just down the road from me on the corner of MinQuan and JianGuo Roads. It is new, and at night, each square on the face of the building lights up. Sometimes they have multi-colored designs, sometimes English or Chinese words, and lately advertisements for Adidas. I have seen commercials and videos being shot outside the building. I have also seen auditions and concerts. It isnt as impressive as the 101, to be sure, but it is another example of Taipei's ultra-modern side.
