Back to Taipei today. This was taken as I walked from my apartment to the Grand Hotel and then around Yuanshan. I took this last fall when I was still using the Canon S50. It was in taken in the late afternoon. 

I realize now I have not posted any of my pictures from Tokyo, so I will start mixing those in with the Taipei pics. This was taken while I was walking in either Ueno or in Shinjuku. 

I see this building three nights every week, as I wait to take a bus home, and every time I see it, I feel like I've been transported to a noir-ish (can I say this?) detective story. 

I took this on one a walk that originated from near Chichang MRT. I find one of the best ways to see the city is to go to random MRT stops and then start walking.
